New Release Available! Automated Installation of Mastodon and PeerTube

We are excited to announce a new release that sets a milestone in ease of use and deployment for decentralized communication and content tools. In this version, we’ve included automated installation for two of the most requested applications by our community: Mastodon and PeerTube.

What’s New?

Automated Installation of Mastodon

Mastodon, the most popular decentralized microblogging social network, can now be deployed in just a few steps thanks to our automation. This application allows you to create and manage your own accounts while connecting with other instances, forming a federated social network free from centralized control.

Simplified Installation of PeerTube

PeerTube, the decentralized video hosting solution, is also included in this release.
This platform for video hosting and sharing, based on free software and peer-to-peer (P2P) technology, enables you to federate your instance with others, creating an open network without relying on centralized servers.
To ensure the performance and scalability of both applications, we recommend using external S3 storage. These applications can significantly increase data usage, and S3 offers a more cost-effective and scalable solution compared to traditional SSD drives.
Through your client area on this website, you can directly subscribe to the S3 service and add it to your server. This will configure the applications to use external storage during installation.

A Tailored Product for Mastodon and PeerTube

Understanding the specific needs of these applications, we’ve launched a new product that combines minimal SSD storage with the option to add an S3 storage plan that fits your requirements.

DKIM Keys to Improve Email Delivery for Applications

Starting with this release, each application you install via the control panel will automatically generate a DKIM key. You can add this key to your DNS entries to improve the delivery quality of notifications sent by the application, ensuring that outgoing messages, such as account creation or password recovery emails, don’t end up in spam folders or get rejected by recipients.
