Reelease 202405 - Nginx and Haproxy

The 202405 release of MaadiX is now available and includes support for Nginx, an application that you can install once you’ve downloaded the update.

Apache will remain enabled even if you install Nginx, but you'll have the option to choose which of the two web servers to use for each domain. To allow both servers to coexist, HaProxy is used which listens on ports 80 and 443 of the public IP and redirects traffic to the following local IPs:

• 127.0.0.2 for Apache
• 127.0.0.3 for Nginx

All applications will continue to run with Apache. Nginx has been added to offer future applications such as CryptPad, Mastodon, or PeerTube, as it is the recommended web server for them.

This new release also includes updates to applications and core system components, detailed below:

• RocketChat 6.11.0
• Puppet Client - version 8.7.0
