This release of MaadiX includes new functionalities focused on strengthening security and optimizing server resources. In addition, applications are updated to the latest available version.

This new version is only available for Debian 10 (Stretch) servers in release 201902. If you have not yet upgraded your operating system, you will need to do so in order to access this release. Here you can check the details of the operating system upgrade process.

Passwords during installation

From now on you will be able to assign the passwords of the applications during the installation process from the Control Panel, without having to send them by email as before. You will only have to enter them in the form that is displayed when you mark an application to be installed.

Remember to write down the password in a safe place so that you can access the application once the installation is finished.

Nextcloud and Etherpad on the domain of your choice

Considering the large number of requests we have received in this regard, we have modified the way Nextcloud and Etherpad are installed.

For new installations you will have to enter a domain/subdomain at the time of installation.

If you already have them installed, you can modify their configuration to assign a domain/subdomain of your own. This way they will no longer be installed on the server domain (e.g. myserver.maadix.org/nextcloud) and you will be able to use your own domain/subdomain instead (e.g. cloud.example.com).

Trash with more functionalities

We have added new features to the Trash that will allow you to keep saving disk space.

You will be able to delete from the Control Panel Docker images that are not being used, obsolete packages and copies of application files that may have been generated in the upgrade processes and that are no longer needed. These files are backup copies that the system generates during the upgrade processes to be able to recover them in case of any incident, and that can be deleted if no errors have occurred.
