1. General information

In this privacy policy we explain what personal data we process when you visit our website or interact with us through our channels, why we do so and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Who is the controller of your data?

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is:

MaadiXZone S.L.
Tax ID (NIF/CIF): B66869249
Calle Bejar 20, 4º 2º
08014 Barcelona
Spain

You can find more information about us on the  About us page.

3. Who can you contact if you have questions about data protection?

If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, you can write to us at contact [at] maadix [dot] net . We will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible and, in any case, within the time limits set by law.

4. How do we process your personal data?

Your data is stored within the European Union and is not disclosed to third parties, except where there is a legal obligation to do so or where it is necessary to provide the service you have requested from us. Below we describe the most common types of processing.

4.1 Browsing the website

When you visit our website, the server automatically logs certain technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the pages visited, the browser type and the operating system. We use this data solely to ensure that the site works properly and securely, and to detect and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website operational and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days and are then deleted or anonymised.

4.2 Enquiries and email

If you contact us by email or through a ticket,  we will process the data you provide, usually your name, your email address and the content of your message, solely in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent and, where the enquiry relates to a contract or a request for a quote, the taking of pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). We will keep this data for as long as necessary to deal with your request and, thereafter, for any applicable legal retention periods.

4.3 Service providers

Our website, our email and all the other tools we use run on our own infrastructure, which we manage ourselves on virtualised servers. We do not use third-party services to host the website, manage email or process the enquiries you send us.

The only external providers involved are Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) and OVH HISPANO S.L. (C/ Alcalá 21, 5th floor, 28014 Madrid, Spain), from whom we rent the dedicated physical servers on which this infrastructure operates.

Both providers are limited to providing the hardware, connectivity, and data centre facilities, all of which are located within the European Union (France, Germany and/or Finland). Although they do not manage our systems, they act as data processors because they have physical access to the equipment. Accordingly, we have entered into the corresponding data processing agreements with these companies in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

Your data never leaves the European Economic Area (EEA).

5. What rights do you have over your data?

The GDPR grants you a number of rights that you can exercise at any time and free of charge. First, you have the right of access, that is, the right to know whether we process any personal data about you and, if so, which data. If the data we hold is incorrect or incomplete, you can ask us to rectify or complete it.

You can also ask us to erase your data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Please note, however, that in some cases we will not be able to delete it immediately because the law or a contract requires us to keep it for a certain period; in that case, we will keep it blocked and available only to the competent authorities.

If, for example, you believe that your data is inaccurate or that the processing is unlawful, you can ask us to restrict its processing while the matter is resolved. You also have the right to data portability, which means that you can receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or ask us to send it directly to another controller where technically feasible.

You can object to the processing of your data at any time, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for it. Finally, we do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that affect you; if we did, you would have the right not to be subject to them. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.

To exercise any of these rights, simply write to us at contact [at] maadix [dot] net stating which right you wish to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for additional information to confirm it.

6. Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es). Even so, we encourage you to contact us first: we always try to resolve any disagreement as quickly and simply as possible.

7. Voluntary nature of providing data

You are not legally required to provide us with your personal data, and the decision to do so is entirely voluntary. However, some of our services, such as answering an enquiry or sending you a quote, cannot be provided if you do not give us the information needed to do so.
